  1. For the first example, dont tin the pad that much. The wire should be going through the hole, put it through and add a bit of solder to it.

  2. Lead free solder is only really necessary if youโ€™re soldering every day for several hours. The amount of lead exposure you get from handling traditional 60:40 lead solder is practically nothing, and worth the tradeoff for solder thatโ€™s easier to work with imo.

  3. This gotta be one of the worst examples of a good solder. Yea it works but ur burning the board. Not neat at all. Be careful donโ€™t just torch ur board ๐Ÿ˜‚
