I am not seeing that laser etching is good enough for really fine pads though, for things like ESP32s.

Mask, drill vias only and via pad through mask. Dip on solder bath to soak bridges into vias. Drill through holes. Ablate masks pads.
Might require through holes to have adjacent vias so not relying on 2 sided solder flow.
Man I can’t wait to buy into this technology in like 2-3 years, that’s awesome
