Required Tools and Supplies For Basic Soldering | Soldering Basics | Soldering for Beginners

This is the first video for a 3 part sub-series that I’m adding to my Soldering Basics video series. This sub-series is about Tools and Supplies for Basic Soldering. This soldering series is a great way to learn soldering for beginners. In this video I’m showing what’s required for basic soldering, and it should help you with setting up a good soldering kit for beginners.

  1. The description of this video has links to some playlists I’ve made for Basic Soldering. I also added some links to help you find items that are similar to what I’m using in this video.

  2. I have the cheap soldering pen but it starts to glow the longer i have the switch on and its not even for that long just 3 to 5 mins maximum

  3. I’m 54 and I just now want to learn how to solder. I find vintage PCs and sometimes I find they won’t work due to something wrong with a capacitor, etc.
Friend of mine mentioned getting a basic kit and just start practicing.
