In this video I will be testing out the Voltera V-One PCB printer and create a homemade PCB version of one of my older PCB projects in order to find out whether such a PCB printer is a good replacement for proper PCB manufacturers. Along the way we will discover all the advantages and disadvantages such a printer comes with. Let’s get started!

  1. I cut boards with a 3018 during development, then order the boards for production. I think I will keep doing that.

  2. The comments seem to miss the point of this: This is for profesional rapid prototyping, it’s not for end products made by hobyists.

It doesn’t compete with PCB manufactue houses, instead it competes with protoboards. And if you are a company, having employees waste time hand soldering wires on a protoboard quickly becomes expensive as the hours rack up.

  3. 9:20 what about the Uzi 9mm πŸ˜‚β€¦ sorry mate couldn’t resist.. it looks good in principal and was thinking if I could get just a print head and fit to a standard CNC machine. … what would the soldering g princess be like if you used some liquid flux?

  4. I think for me, photo developing is my first choice followed my milling out.

This is a really good video buddy thank you
