I Always Clean My Tip And Then I Press Itt In Rosin Rock When Hoty And Then I Solder The Tip With Soldering Wire. 60/40 Or My Old USSR Surplus Soldering Wire

You dont clean it when your done to protect the tip of deoxidizing 😅

Because I use a wood burner 😅
Tried it on my 7 year old tip with 10 inch thick oxidation and it works like a charm
